Vancomycin

It is recommended for sheep in the treatment of the following parasitic infestations:

-Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus contortus (adults and 4th larval stage), Haemonchus placei (adults), Ostertagia circumcincta (adults and 4th larval stage), Trichostrongylus axei (adults and 4th larval stage), Trichostrongylus colubriformis (adults and 4th larval stage), Cooperia curtitei (adults and 4th larval stage), Cooperia oncophora (adults), Nematodirus spathiger (adults and 4th larval stage), Nematodirus battus (adults and 4th larval stage), Strongyloides papillosus (adults), Oesophagostomum columbianum (adults and 4th larval stage), Oesophagostomum venulosum (adults), Trichuris ovis (adults), Chabertia ovina (adults).

-Pulmonary roundworms: Dictyocaulus filaria (adults and 4th larval stage), Muellerius capillaris, Protostrongylus rufescens.

-Nasal larval infestations: Oestrus avis (1st, 2nd and 3rd stages).
