Animal species

Calves (up to 3 months of age), sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats.

Composition

1 tablet (0.8 g of the drug) contains active ingredients:

sodium sulfadimethoxine -250 mg

trimethoprim - 50 mg

Indications

Treatment of calves (up to 3 months of age), sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats for diseases of the respiratory system, digestive tract and genitourinary system caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimethoxine.

Cattle: treatment of diarrhea, catarrhal bronchopneumonia, eimeroza, colisepticemia, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, pneumonia, staphylococcal abscesses caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimethoxine.

Sheep, goats: treatment of pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, colisepticemia, pneumonia, diarrhea caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimethoxine.

Pigs: treatment of pasteurellosis, colienterotoxemia, gastroenteritis, salmonellosis, coccidiosis, balantidiosis, pleuropneumonia, dysentery caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimethoxine.

Dogs and cats: treatment of pneumonia, mycoplasmosis, enterocolitis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, coccidiosis, isosporosis, endometritis, mastitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimethoxine.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as in diseases of the hematopoietic organs, liver, kidneys.

Do not use in ruminants with functionally developed ventricles.

Do not use in malnourished animals.

Do not use in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Dosage and administration

Orally with food or water individually or in groups at the doses indicated in the table:

The drug is administered once a day for 5-10 days with eimeria, balantidiasis, isosporosis. In the case of protozoa, the treatment of animals is carried out in two or three courses of 5 days each. The interval between courses is 5-10 days.

Withdrawal period

Meat and offal - 10 days

Milk - 4 days.

Meat received before the specified period is used as feed for non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.
