Composition

Active substance: Colistin sulfate - 1200000 IU

Trimethoprim - 20.0 mg

Excipient: Lactose up to 1 g

Indications

The product is recommended for calves, lambs, kids, pigs, rabbits and poultry in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by germs sensitive to colistin and trimethoprim.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of serious liver or kidney dysfunction and in known cases of allergies to trimethoprim.

Dosage and administration

The product is administered orally in liquid feed or drinking water.

Curative treatment:

Swine 1 g per 10 kg body weight/day.

Poultry, rabbits: 1 g per 10 kg body weight/day or 1 g per 1 liter of drinking water/day

Cattle, sheep, goats: 1 g per 10 kg body weight/day or 1 g per 1 liter of drinking water/day.

Treatment should be followed for 3-5 days.

Prophylactic use ½ of the doses indicated in the curative treatment.

Withdrawal period

Meat and organs: 7 days

Eggs: Eggs from birds treated with Colivetoprim are not intended for human consumption, (during the laying period and / or 4 weeks before the start of the laying period).

Presentation form

Hydrophobic aluminum bag of 50 g and 1000 g inside a cardboard box.

Shelf life

24 months.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
