
Dogs and minks.
One bottle of the drug contains active substances, IU:
Benzathine benzylpenicillin sterile – 1,200,000 IU,
Benzylpenicillin novocaine sterile salt – 300,000 IU.
Treatment of minks and dogs suffering from necrobacteriosis, pasteurellosis, pneumonia, mastitis, metritis, wound infection, otitis, septicemia, phlegmon; actinomycosis, emphysematous anthrax; stachyobryotoxicosis, streptococcosis, staphylococcosis, infectious stomatitis, rhinitis, canine distemper, as well as diseases of the urinary tract caused by microorganisms sensitive to benzylpenicillin.
Hypersensitivity to substances from the penicillin or novocaine group. If allergic reactions occur, animals are given antiallergic drugs (norepinephrine or adrenaline, 10% solution of calcium chloride diphenhydramine). Do not use in guinea pigs or hamsters.
The injectable suspension is prepared sterile immediately before use. Bitinovet-5 after adding 9 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution or sterile water for injection, or 0.25-0.5% novocaine solution, shake until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
